Secure, escrow-protected transfer
When you buy, payment is held in escrow and the domains are transferred to you safely once everything checks out. How delivery works depends on the domain's status.
Expired domains
These are delivered with an authorization (auth) code only. A processing fee — the cost to renew the domain — is handled by the buyer, since the renewal is on your side.
If a domain has been expired for more than ~20 days, registrars may apply different transfer and redemption terms (some enter a 30-day redemption period with extra fees, others lock transfers). Double-check with the seller or contact the domain's registrar to confirm how they handle it before you buy.
Active (non-expired) domains
You can ask the seller how they'd like to deliver, or choose the transfer method yourself in your Transfer Center after purchase.
Even with instant checkout available, you can still contact the seller first to remove domains you don't want or to negotiate a better price.
